The opportunity We're seeking a Product Manager for several key M365 technologies around Information Protection, Compliance and Governance. Emphasis will be on how these technologies are being implemented to support data protection scenarios in Office 365 platforms such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, ODB and Exchange. This is a semi technical role that will act as the custodian for policies, roadmaps, high impact issues and development of opportunities to further deploy capabilities to EY member firms. Your key responsibilities The Product manager will:
Develop roadmaps for key Office 365 data protection technologies such as Azure Information Protection and DLP. Build a network across Information Security, Microsoft and EY M365 product owners to manage and govern Information Protection technologies (policy management, operate model, supportability etc) Work with product owners and other stakeholders to identify demand for specific data protection use cases and translate those into practical application using M365 technologies. Ensure the roadmap for Information Protection technology from Information Security is understood, and that interdependencies are managed Identify and develop opportunities to save costs or improve UX. Help increase adoption across the Firm Manage high impact issues / gaps by liaising between service teams, Microsoft, Info Sec etc Manage all financial aspects of the product including annual budgeting, invoice checking and signoff, analyze the financial impact of service and support model changes, manage risks and opportunities. This includes monthly financial review of centrally managed P&L and advising and consulting local business contacts on service cost and investments. Direct the metrics on the total cost of ownership (TCO) for the product to show business value. Partner with other Product Managers within to align product roadmaps and service and optimize overall user experience. Direct the product strategy and long term roadmap incorporating industry trends, business demand and the wider IT strategy. Proactively research and evaluate feasibility of any new technologies that may improve the product. Sponsor projects to design new solutions, and direct pilots utilizing Service delivery teams as well as the Deployment organization. Direct reporting of product utilization and continuously drives for improved adoption of the technologies. Partner with the Deployment team to prepare business change material and product industrialization. Proactively partners with the Business Relationship Management team and engages with local business executives to market, deploy and expand the Services and decommission legacy products. Plan, budget, initiate and sponsor the investment portfolio to deliver new product features and deploy the product. Ultimately accountable for the timely delivery of the investments within the approved budget. Direct and oversees monthly service portfolio review meetings with stakeholders to manage the investment budget and scope management of projects. Oversee the team's activities to meet deliverable dates for next generation services in accordance with best practices in the industry. Proven experience in Service Delivery Proven experience in marketing and sales Passionate, committed and determined To qualify for the role you must have Education:
Bachelor or Masters degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience with M365 technologies (owning products or services, leading engineering or architecture teams or being a senior Subject Matter Expert) A deep understanding of M365 governance strategies in large organizations A good understanding of Microsoft Information Protection technologies such as AIP, DLP, Intune, Conditional Access
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Technical Product ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
