Lead the collection, analysis and reporting of competitive insights, incorporating primary and secondary, qualitative and quantitative data that generates actionable insights.
Function as internal consultant to product management, product marketing, sales and executives to provide insight relative to the competitive landscape.
Lead cross-functional teams that include product marketing, sales and partner teams on competitive positioning and messaging.
Use competitor announcements, news, review sites, analyst reports and other published sources to build and communicate a detailed understanding of key competitors? strategies, offerings, GTM activities, and performance.
Create playbooks, sales presentations, and other internal or customer-facing assets to help sales and partners win in competitive situations.
Leverage win/loss analyses and reporting to consistently refine messaging and sales enablement materials.
Collaborate with Product Management on technical assessments of competitors.
Abide by and enforce Competitive Insights legal and ethical guidelines with internal stakeholders and sales teams.
Manage the budget allocation to projects.
Minimum of bachelor?s degree in marketing, strategic planning or business
8+ years of creating and delivering competitive strategy or product marketing in software, technology or subscriber business
Research management and analysis skills: Primary, secondary, quality and quantitative
Extensive experience in enabling sales, creating effective content and delivering competitive deep insights
Demonstrated ability to work cross-organizationally, especially with Competitive Intelligence, Sales, Marketing, and Product Management
Independently capable of prioritizing and managing multiple business-essential projects? Consulting or product marketing for PaaS, SaaS, accounting software or ERP vendor experience
Experience working with multidomestic companies with global presence to successful completion in a quality and timely manner
Microsoft Office Suite
Various Survey & Analytics Tools
Various Web-Host Video Conferencing Apps
Delivery of actionable insights on key competitors across products and regions
Delivery of competitive tools that enable sales, marketing and product teams
Completion of competitive research using secondary and primary data sources

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
