US - Machine Operator - Level 1 - Lifting 30lbs or less moderate machine operation

SHIFT: 2nd Shift 2 pm- 10 pm, OT IS OFFERED AS NEEDED - SOME SATURDAYS ALSO REQUIRED
PAY: $15.50/HR ($15 plus shift differential)
Position Description:
? Duties include cutting, punching, bending, and shaping of metal using metal processing equipment such as lasers, punches, roll formers, press brakes and other metal working equipment.
? Ability to accurately measure and understand tolerances as specified within .020.
? Ability to handle materials in order to stack, stage, and manipulate up to 40 lbs. in a variety of positions that requires lifting, stooping, and bracing of such materials.
? Understand basic shop practices regarding safety, PPE, team interaction, willingness to learn and high attention to detail.
? Basic computer skills and comprehension skills for shop communications.
? Ability to work in shop environment, standing and walking for the majority of the shift while operating machinery and processing materials.
? Requires use of hands to reach, grasp, hold and lift materials and be able to twist, stoop, reach, and turn materials up to and including shoulder level.
Basic Requirements:
? High School Diploma and or GED
? Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively, both written and orally.
? Must have basic math and measurement skills
? Excellent work ethic, ability to report to work every day and willingness to learn and to be a team player
? Willingness and ability to work overtime as requested
Additional Skills Desired/Helpful:
? Prior Machine Operator experience helpful including familiarity with set ups and operational controls/programming.
? Competent in use of measuring equipment such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.
? Fork lift operation.
? Other metal fabrication experience such as welding, powder painting, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
